A fresh grocery delivery service, Farm2Market, has launched in Australia, to support farmers in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria. Farm2Market founder, Jordan Pearce, said the service allows local farmers and food suppliers to sell online in a cheaper way.
There are now 40 local businesses onboard including Freeman’s Organic Farm in Currumbin Valley; Mirabrook Pork from Victoria; Australian Natural Food Co; Chasney Estate Olive Oil; Northern New South Wale’s Bio Organic Farm and Byron Bay Olive Company.
“It was the Australian dairy farm crisis a few years ago that was the major turning point for my family,” Pearce said.
“This struggle against the big supermarkets is what inspired the creation of Farm2Market, along with our passion for supplying Australian families with fresh organic products full of nutrients.”
Pearce said he designed the online platform to reach a large number of consumers.
Consumers can buy seasonal fruits and vegetables; dairy, nuts and poultry products and have them delivered straight to their door. More
