Sol D’Oro International EVOO Southern Hemisphere Competition

This is the first time the International Competition was held in Australia.

The Sol D’Oro International EVOO Southern Hemisphere Competition is open to producers of extra virgin olive oil from Australia, New Zealand, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Brazil, Uruguay and South Africa.

The aim of the Competition is to promote the premium quality of extra virgin olive oil produced in the Southern Hemisphere.
 
The judging panel was composed of expert international tasters led by Marino Giorgetti, the technical director of the Competition. Dr Richard Gawel, Glen Green and Claudia Guillaume represented Australia on the judging panel.
