Barrow Olives commenced in 1993 with the purchase of a mature grove of Verdale trees at Vinfera which is located 25km north-west of Swan Hill on the Murray River.
The grove has a very low environmental footprint. It is trickle irrigated, no sprays or organic fertilisers are used and there is no tillage.
Premium grade extra virgin olive oil is processed and bottled on site with any organic waste returned to compost naturally.
Barrow Premium Olive Oil has won major awards including Best in Show at the Melbourne Show and Best in Class at the Sydney Show.
We produce lemon, lime, mandarin, garlic and chilli flavoured oils. To obtain maximum natural flavour, whole fruit is crushed with the olives prior to the oil extraction.
We also produce table olives.
